About
At CGT Believes Foundation, we believe every student deserves the chance to see beyond their hometown — and every leader who makes that possible deserves to be taken care of too. We've watched students light up experiencing something for the first time, and we've watched educators go the extra mile, year after year, to make that moment happen. That's why we created CGT Believes: to fund scholarships and trip sponsorships for students, and to fund support and appreciation trips for the leaders and directors who give so much of themselves.
Our Story
Since 1988, Creative Group Tours has helped schools, bands, choirs, and student groups travel and make memories together. Through all of those years, one of our core beliefs has guided how we work each day: cost should never be the reason a student misses out on a trip.
We've always lived that belief through the way we plan trips and support the groups we serve. But the idea of building something dedicated to it didn't come until 2026, when a dinner conversation between our company president and vice president turned to a simple question: what if we could do more?
That question became the CGT Believes Foundation. It's our way of giving back to the students and directors at the heart of youth travel, and of supporting student travel as a whole.
We're just getting started, and we're grateful to the teachers and groups who will help us reach the students who need it most.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every student who wants to travel, perform, and explore has the chance to do it, no matter what their family can afford.
Travel changes young people. It builds confidence, widens perspective, and creates memories that last long after the trip is over. The CGT Believes Foundation exists to make sure those experiences reach students who might otherwise miss them, and to support the directors and teachers who make student travel possible.
We're working toward a youth travel community where every student has a seat on the bus, and every group leader feels valued for what they give.
